Training for Trainers
Be qualified to deliver SLII® through our Training for Trainers learning journey
SLII® is the world’s most widely taught leadership model. Through SLII, leaders learn to use the appropriate leadership style in response to the needs of others in each situation, resulting in improved performance, work passion, and trust.
Our learning design—The SLII Experience™—uses game-changing techniques that immerse learners in SLII deeply, and effectively. It’s an award-winning and dynamic design, and you can learn how to facilitate it. The Training for Trainers (T4T) program thoroughly prepares prospective practitioners, so they feel confident, motivated, and prepared to roll out The SLII Experience in their organizations. Sessions are available in interactive virtual formats and in-person at locations worldwide.
Program Details
The Training for Trainers program includes everything you need to begin your SLII certification: the SLII Facilitation Guide and PowerPoint® Presentation with video links for virtual, face-to-face, and blended delivery, as well as the SLII Participant Kit, Poster, Flashcards, Game, Match/Mismatch Tip Cards, Speed Matching Cards, and Playbook.
Recommended Prerequisite
Completing The SLII Experience workshop (either SLII Two-Day In-Person or SLII Five-Session Virtual course) within 12 months prior to attending the Training for Trainers is highly recommended. Consult the public course schedule for upcoming dates.
Audience
Our Training for Trainers course is for learning professionals, trainers, facilitators, coaches, and other practitioners who are responsible for developing, mentoring, and coaching others.
Objectives
- Develop a deep understanding of the SLII concepts and skillsets
- Understand the most important lessons and transformations that participants need to become situational leaders
- Learn how to use the facilitator guide and other materials to enhance the participant learning experience
- Identify where to access designs and materials for virtual, face-to-face, and blended deliveries
- See how to use case studies, interactive games, instruments, and videos to make the training come alive for participants
- Become effective at setting SMART Goals and learn how to link them
- Be able to teach your participants to set SMART goals and how to provide instructive feedback on the goals they set
- Gain Continuing Education Units on the US In-Person sessions by contacting us prior to starting your course. You can earn 16 SHRM PDCs, 16 NASBA CPSs, or 16 ATD Credit Hours.
